Rolling Stones Song: 'Sweet Neo Con' interesting lyrics...

Analog

Lifer
?You call yourself a Christian, I call you a hypocrite,
You call yourself a patriot, well I think you?re full of s[/i]hit
?How come you?re so wrong, my sweet neo con?

"Democracy's our style, Unless you are against us,
Then it's prison without trial.
But one thing that is certain, Life is good at Halliburton."

"How come you're so wrong? My sweet neo-con,
where's the money gone, in the Pentagon"

And Mick Jagger said he wasn't referring to Bush! And btw, I love how he pulls words from F911 and makes them rhyme and then calls it a song. It's so liberal of him.

I love when rock stars involve themselves with politics. They never, ever take a position that warrants a serious listen.

the Stones have always sucked, and now seeing them about ready for wheelchairs and still onstage trying to get their groove on makes me wanna puke.

i hope the Rolling Stone fans in the U.S. realize that Jagger doesn't like our country/our President, but our money sure is good enough for him.

A Brit not liking our Pres is no surprise, but do you have a link to where he said that he doesn't like our country?

I don't care how old they are or how they look. I just care if their music sucks or not. I personally love the new song "Rough Justice."

You've started out with an untenable premise. There is simply no rock record better than any number of Stones albums, including, off the top of my head, Exile on Main Street, Sticky Fingers, and Let It Bleed.

I don't see any evidence Mick Jagger doesn't like the US - the Stones have always been highly influenced by American music and culture, and he seems very fond of America. Hell, I'm an American and a patriot, but think President Bush is an abomination.

heh, catchy lyrics.

But very true........I just love the new highway bill just signed. I guess the oil companies just aren't making enough profit to commit their own money to exploration for new sources of oil.............so they NEED the American public to shell out almost $3 Billion in tax cuts/subsidies to help their empty coffers.

Oh, that's right, Exxon/Mobil had PROFITS, net, last quarter of over $7 Billion.......so their need for subsidies was????

There was no need, just oil cronies padding their pockets and stock portfolios. And a Republican Senator had the audacity to stand and, in support of the bill as it was going though Congress, say the bill supports our idea of a free market and capitalism in our country. HUH???? Tax subsidies to one of the most profitible segments of our economy is free market and the true idea of capitalism?

So when is the gov't going ot start subsidizing EVERY company's planned expansions or the like as they seem to be doing with the iol companies? They won't......because Cheney and Bush don't own stock in them.
