Roller girls

My buddy and I were watching that reality show roller girls. He thinks its fake like the old roller derby and i think its real. Does anyone know if its real or fake?

any "reality" tv show is total BS, unreal and fake

Roller derby is the WWE on wheels. Lots of flashy personalities and pulled punches for entertainment purposes.

if its on TV i would assume its fake, but i've personally talked to some of the contestants and they say it was pretty damn real (they weren't the ones being broadcast though)

so maybe its just the more well known ones that are fake
