Roller Coasters at Cedar Point tomorrow...

Screaming with everyone else helps keep your stomach down. And enjoy the ride. Revel in the feelings.
BTW, the upside-down loops still exert more than 1G on your body, so you don't know you're upside-down.

Dramamine. One before you go to bed tonight, one in the morning.

yep

and you'll be sleeping like a log the next day

He's going to an amusement park. I doubt he's going to fall asleep on a rollercoaster.

I meant the next day after the amusement park's trip. Dramamine's side effects won't kick in until some 24 hours later)

Ginger is an ancient remedy for motion sickness, I use it all the time in my travels to Panama as the pilots of the little island jumpers don't really have a concept of turbulence avoidance. Finding real ginger is sort of tough; Ginger Ale doesn't really have ginger in it anymore, and you can't really get it from the drugstores.

The best bet is, about an hour before you start the rides, go to a chinese restaurant and order a large helping of Ginger Chicken. It will both fill you, helping you to avoid the costly food prices at the park, and also ensure that you will not get motion sickness.

Have fun and thank me later!

unless you look around.. LOL

If you're motion sick to the point of puking and having it ruin your day, stay off those rides. It's natures way of telling you that you don't belong on roller coasters.

I wouldn't worry about motion sickness on the coasters. It's that stupid big screen theater that does me in. Stay away from it!

tip your head back and open your mouth as the coaster descends. Scream if you want... But, it'll help avoid that weird sensation.

Make sure you ride the Raptor at night if you are there late enough. It's very fun to ride it when you don't really know where the track is going.

you will be fine. you wont get sick on the coasters, just the forward and reverse type rides that do the same motion over and over (i.e. carnival rides like the pirate ship ). you won't find that on any coasters.

That's if it doesn't break down while you are waiting in line 🙁
Happened to me about 3 weeks ago. Oh well I rode everything else 🙂
