Well at work we have NAV 7.5 corporate for whatever reason, but we don't use any of the crap it includes. I think we got schiested by whatever computer place that we bought it from since we're a small business. It is installed locally on the machines, and updated manually with LiveUpdate.
But there is one computer without it on, and I've been trying to install it but it gets 75% done at 'updating virus definitions' then rolls back, and is cancelled. I read all the crap on their knowledge base, and most of it is about permissions. All of the computers use ONLY administrator. Then I edited the policies to even disable rollback in MSI but still it rolls back. WTF? All I wanna do is install the damn program! I tried removing everything Symantec that is on the computer, but there still remains some Symantec Shared-type stuff, and it won't let me delete it saying it's in use, but I find absolutely nowhere that it is running or even installed.
