You didn't buy it did you?
I think this is even more of a disappointment than Soldier of Fortune: Payback.
I loved Richard Marcinko's books but this game is bad.
yes I did, for $26 after coupon, but I did buy a copy for my friend too and that cost me $36.99 I think.
This should be bargain bin...
Seriously, I think pontifex is the biggest negative Nancy I've ever seen WRT games, yet here he is buying two copies of one of the worst games released this year.So you harp on actual good games and yet you buy really bad games... twice?

wtf? i'm here saying its bad but yet i'm getting flack for it.
i didn't buy 2 copies for myself. I bought a copy for my friend for his birthday because he's a fan of Richard Marcinko also.
i love the Rogue Warrior books so I thought I'd give this a chance.
Yes, flack. You rip on how you think Crysis and other games are horrible and yet you promptly run out and pick up Rogue Warrior completely oblivious to the actual content. Without a doubt, flacking deserved.
You say that as if you were stating it as fact rather than opinion.
So then do you acknowledge the fact that Crysis is generally considered great by the majority of the gaming community?
You said "Crysis was horrible, except for the graphics" and then bound that statement to "I'm not the only one who thought that as well. There's plenty of other people on this forum who said the same." Why did you state that there are other people on this forum who said the same if all you care about is your opinion alone? You wouldn't have felt the need to say something like that if you were content enought to simply state your personal opinion.
Do an advanced search for the user Pontifex with the word Crysis in the PC Gaming sub forum. I remember reading many of those. Seeing this thread and remembering all the comments you've posted before made it very hard for me not to reply.
I can't read your mind to know what was going through it when you purchased Rogue Warrior, but I have to believe you felt it would be a good game. This is without knowing much, if anything, about how the game is being received. The purchase you made was not based on knowing any merrits the game may have, but rather the source material of which you seem to be familiar with. Don't worry though. You aren't alone there. Movie tie-in games seem to sell well despite their quality.
You aren't giving much credability to your adament claims of just how horrible Crysis is when you go out and purchase a game like this without knowing much about it.
