I know Rogue is not top of the line, so don't bother telling me about it. For $180 plus shipping you can get your kid a brand new bass and a 50 watt (read: PLENTY LOUD) amp. This is great for a beginner! And yadda yadda yadda I KNOW it is better for a beginner to start with a $2000 bass guitar. But lets stay in the real world if you don't mind.
