1.) Doesn't affect me, but I do see that affecting a large number of people.
2.) This is very true. There are still some cheap theaters, but even they have raised their prices.
3.) I don't like annoying people in the theater. I agree with this.
4.) If I go to the movie theater, I abstain from all refreshment purchases, since they are a rip off.
5.) This is the main factor for me. I watch mostly foreign or indie films, I watch mostly older movies that have been out for many years. Netflix is a great option for that. If I want to see any more new or mainstream movies, redbox has me covered for a buck. Also, there's TCM, Sundance, and IFC which usually have at least a couple of interesting movies per week.
6.) doesn't affect me, as I'm close enough to a big city to have lots of options, but it does annoy me when the 30 cinema plex only has 4 or 5 different movies....
