I think it's going to stink, I think the only attraction is Angelina Jolie and her fake Kazoo's.

Hopefully everyone knows she had an "ass" double in the movie because hers wasn't up to snuff.

Jolie's breasts are not fake. Read on from Reuters:

"Indeed, the pairing is a match made
in heaven except for one problem
that had most everyone leaving the
movie at test screenings around Los
Angeles talking: In the video game,
Croft's breast size is exaggerated.
To approximate the look, the
film makersput jolie in a bra that, in
essence, became its own special
effect.

"I'll make it real simple," she said.
"I'm a 36-C. In the game, she's a
double-D. In the movie, she's a D.
We split the difference ... (the
movie Croft) is much more athletic,
and she has smaller breasts, but
she's still Lara Croft, so there."
Amid a room full of supposedly jaded
reporters, jolie sits silently -- rather
matter-of-factly -- while they mostly
turn away, scribble notes, check
recorders and avoid eye contact.
She has stunned them, again, but
only because she gave a frank
answer to aquestion everyone had
been dying to ask."

They are.. "fake".. Angelina Jolie's are real but Lara crofts are fake

<< HOLLYWOOD (Reuters) - They said it -- notable quotes from the entertainment world.

``I'll make it real simple. I'm a 36-C. In the game, she's a double-D. In the movie, she's a D. We split the difference ... (The movie Lara Croft) is much more athletic, and she has smaller breasts, but she's still Lara Croft, so there.''

-- actress ANGELINA JOLIE, on the cup-size differences between herself, the Lara Croft character she plays in ``Tomb Raider'' and the character as she appears in the video game.

Roger Ebert is probably the only critic I listen to. I was going to watch Tomb Raider anyway, despite what everyone says. I'm a sucker for Angelina Jolie.

I saw it today, I say 3/4 is an accurate reading. It has its flaws, its not really all about the plot, but the action is pretty cool and the special effects are well done (for the most part). Not nearly enough tomb raiding or action, but when they did it was good. The plot about her father just got in the way sometimes and I wanted to see more rivalry between the guy she was semi-friendly with. But the good outweighs the bad and I'm fairly sure there'll be a sequel if this does well. Maybe then they can fix what's missing.

""Lara Croft Tomb Raider" elevates goofiness to an art form. Here is a movie so monumentally silly, yet so wondrous to look at, that only a churl could find fault."

Am I the only one who doesn't know what the hell a churl is? Guess i'll go look it up.
No opinions not needed.

<< And please don't tell me it makes no sense. The last thing I want to see is a sensible movie about how the Illuminati will reunite the halves of the severed triangle in order to control time in the ruins of the ancient city that once rose in the meteor crater--if, and it's a big "if," the clue of the All-Seeing Eye inside the hidden clock can be used at the moment of planetary alignment that comes every 5,000 years, and if the Tomb Raiders are not destroyed by the many-armed Vishnu figure and the stone monkeys. The logic is exhausting enough even when it doesn't make sense. >>

hahahaha!

roger ebert understands that this movie is not meant to be a serious movie. its a stupid popcorn movie! none of you really expect it to be nearly as good as indiana jones do you? its based on a video game!

Smart money says you'll be able to rent the movie at Blockbuster well before Labor Day. I think the real question to be answered is this: which do you think will be out first on pay-per-view, Tomb Raider, or the inevitable pr0n knockoff version ? You know the title "Womb Raider" is too easy a mark for those types to pass up....

If you judge movies by whether or not they are art, then this film won't be up to snuff.
But if you go to be entertained (and if you're a guy, you can't not be fixated on Lara's boobs), then it's an ok film.
I don't regret seeing it.

And if you're one of those guys mentioned above, you'll like the end of the film when she is running...

edit////she's on the newest cover of RS---most of the pics exude pure sex.

Please tell us if the theaters were crowded. I don't want to go when the theater is too crowded and I can't find a seat.
