I just can't stop laughing at this...

http://www.msnbc.com/news/641804.asp

The Pro-Taliban, Pro-Bin Laden protestors in Pakistan are carrying posters with 'gag' images taken from the internet.... one with Bert (as some may have already heard) and one with Osama holding a bottle of booze.

Such sweet irony...

In my best Nelson voice: 'HAHA!'

Yeah pretty funny but those images were doctored. The newsies found some Windows Paint expert who made a smart face and said "the image definitely wasn't hacked", and that's enough proof for them. I spent 5 minutes researching this on my own and managed to find versions of those photos without the sesame street character on them. Kinda sad. In the age of computers, most people are still complete idiots when it comes to them :)

Huh? The image OF THE POSTER is not doctored. Read the article.... the printer of the posters said he pulled some 'Osama' images off the internet without looking too closely at them.
Two of the images he used are 'gag' images OBVIOUSLY doctored in photoshop... you know the type of images that are infamous on message boards just like this one.

But these 'gag' images is perhaps the most famous yet..... just outa chance and the printers stupidity.

hehe

Franc, the whole poster thing is doctored. I've seen pictures of demonstrators with that poster and there is no sesame street character on it. Come on, you really think they wouldn't notice? :)

So, the printer of the posters is lying?

Mostafa Kamal, production manager of Azad Products, the Dhaka shop that made the posters, told the AP he had gotten the images off the Internet.
?We did not give the pictures a second look or realize what they signified until you pointed it out to us,? he said
Kamal said he would leave out the controversial images from his next posters.

Hmmm can you post link to that exact photo without alteration?... maybe you saw a different photo of newer poster?... *shrugs*

OMG, that's so damn funny and stupid at the same time, I'm seriously laughing my ass off to those morons and shaking my head in disbelief.

<edit> If it's for real of course... </edit>

those posters are real.. read here for more info.
I've also seen the poster without bert, and if you look closely you see that on that poster the big osama picture is moved a bit so that it overlaps bert.
The shoulder of osama of the 'osama with bert' picture touches the big osama picture, where it doesn't on the poster with bert.
(see hi-res pictures at above mentioned site)

hahaha, have you guys ever seen those "Bert is Evil" pages before? Once in the office I spent a few minutes looking at that site... this is so freakin hilarious, the guys who made the poster I guess found these parody websites and thought it was serious... HAHAHAHA :D
