can be yours for the low low price of $1700 EDIT: even better, it appears to be a CL scammer...HA!

The Subie scoop on the hood is just that little bit of "extra" that car aficionado's look for.

It's been "totally converted", except for the wheels, interior, drivetrain, brakes, suspension, and everything else.

Edit - What is the goal of a CL spammer? I see bogus ads all the time from people advertising a car with 4 pictures each of a slightly different car, etc. But what are they hoping to gain? You show up and they rob you?

The motor in that thing is worth $1700 alone. If it includes the rest it's a damn steal. I am seriously thinking of taking a trip to Iowa. Thanks for the heads-up, gonna email him now! Only problem is the maintenance on those M3s is a bit rich.

The side gills are on back to front and the headlights are wrong.

This car has been posted before, but I'm not surprised he can't sell it. 🙂

Seriously...I think the only thing he got right was the paint color.

Hood pins usually connect to either the radiator or something that has substance. It appears he just drilled his through the hood to nothing.

It really needs the wheels. That would help make it LOOK better. But, the drive train will never be in that car so...while it LOOKS cool, it is not, and never will be an M3.

He should have saved his money and just bought an M3.

I know that, but since I have no experience with Honda Civics there is nothing from those pictures that would suggest he just drilled through the hood and attached them to nothing. I mean, they could be attached to something other than just the hood itself...right?

Honestly though, judging from the rest of the car, it wouldn't surprise me in the least if you were entirely correct. 😉

It's about calling ahead to put a hold on the car.

Car may not be most people's thing, but at $1700 it was a steal. Buyer calls up and seller plays the 'well I have 2 other guys coming tonight, I can hold it for you for $x'
