God, I love this movie. I can't watch anything with Tim Curry in the same light, however... "I'm just a sweet transvestite... hohh... from transsexxxual... Transsylvvanniaaaaaa".

i remember watching that in like 5th grade with my best friend at the time while making fun of his two little brothers who we thought were gay.
 
When you see it in the theatre you think that all these retards throwing things at the screen should be euthanized. When you see it at home you realize that the retards were distracting you from how bad the actual movie is.
 
saw it for the first time on that special edition dvd... needless to say.. i was :Q 🙂

I saw that movie at least 4 times at the theater. Ahh, misspent youth. If I was a kid today I could worship Eminem or 25 cents. 😛

Only 4 times? I remember going every week for a while there. It was great fun.
 
I would've gone more often but I came from a very poor background. And I still have a hard time paying twice for any thing I saw once.

me too, there was a midnight show on 8th street that we would always go to. those were the days. some ppl knew all the dialogue, like every word and would add in stuff that the rest of the audience would know too.
 
it was a lot of fun to go to the nuart in santa monica at midnight and watch it, getting involved in the whole audience thing was a blast.

Hedwig is a little bit better. The music to Hedwig is freaking awesome.

I say you haven't lived your life fully if you haven't gone to the theatre with the freaks and drag queens and watched RHPS at least once. It's a blast!
 
seeing it in a theater that is willing to show it is the best way!!! Totally out of the ordinary for a nite out at the movies 😎

I've seen it a few times in Harvard Square, at one point I sorta knew a couple of the "performers". The girl played Susan Sarandon's character and was quite well endowed so watching her run around in her underwear all night made it quite watchable. 😀
