Look at the chronological order of events, and realize that it wasn't me who started this. You are mad at people for blasting this woman before I even started posting. And yet you single me out and blame me.

Okay. I apologize. You were the first one to include violence in a post that quoted my own, so that caused me to single you out, when there were violent posts prior to yours.

It just pisses me off that people will basically just say "This person needs to die because they commited ___insert trivial offense here____".

Its different when you're telling an ATOT member, or some heinous criminal that they need to fsck off and die, because its probably true. But bagging on some old lady who is ignorant (and most people that old ARE ignorant about todays society.) isn't really called for. People don't understand the culture difference, and the huge differences in how people think.

It's such a huge difference that I am astonished she is even suing. In her day people didnt sue companies, hell people couldnt afford to sue companies.

This is a frivolous case. This woman purchased a game where the player shoots civilians, kills police, and solicits prostitutes. There was no false advertising here. The game is chock full of vice, and any reasonable person can see that from reading the back of the retail box.

I'm hoping for dismissal with prejudice, and sanctions on both the plaintiff and plaintiff's counsel under Rule 11 of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure. The court systems are already bogged down, and don't need idiots clogging the dockets with bull$h!t complaints.

I doubt this woman simply wants a refund. I'm betting that she wants cold, hard cash for her irresponsibility. I hope the system does not reward her.

If this case goes anywhere, this is extremely absurd. I don't see how it can being that it clearly states Mature 17+ on the front of the box.
Sounds like it's time for someone to check herself into shady acres "retirement" home. I only hope she takes a taxi and doesn't attempt to drive herself there.

My dad came home the other night and was like "So Alex, you didn't tell me that there are scenes of pornography in that San Andreas game you got for Christmas." I wanted to laugh because I could tell he read some stupid bullshit in the paper if he referred to it as "scenes of pornography" but I wasn't in the mood so I was just like "Yeah, I just found out last week and apparently you have to have some kind of developers tool to use it." I don't even honestly know the full story or care. It's a fvcking video game. If someone is that desperate that they need to be able to unlock sex scenes of a video game on a shitty engine then I hope they never reproduce for society's sake.

And what pisses me off more than anything is that the grandma doesn't oppose to the violence or the language or anything of that nature, just the sex itself. How the fvck did she have a grandson in the first place? (Hint: Sex.)
