I got a new system. 250 watt doesnt seem to cut it. My Plex is wants more juice or something like that. Is it cool to rock a Antec 400 watt PS? I just picked one up for 99.99 (it was local) and I'm hoping that its cool to rock this power supply and that it wont kill my motherboard or any other peripheral. Comments, please. Thank you!

The difference in power 250, 300, or 400, just refers to total power used. It doesn't actually push out more power to components. It just allows you to connect more stuff.

So assuming it's a good power supply, no it will not hurt anything.

why did you think that it would kill your m/board? the psu only supplies the current that the hardware requires(provided it's capable of suppling it) & no more!
