what can i say.. this is an mp3 player for the car... with 802.11b streaming.. and all components (i think except for the 802.11 router and a PC) are included. They say it's normally over $500 for the bundle. But hurry, they're not likely to restock it.. and the supply is probably very limited by now.

Oh yeah.. just noticed that the remote controller pictured in the bundle looks suspiciously like the Hauppauge remote controller. The only difference seems to be the color and the logo.
Gotta love having one remote for everything :D

I might be interested if the drive's upgradeable...20g just isn't enough. I want to have my whole collection or nothing. This isn't something I want to screw around with all the time - I learned my lesson when I got a 6 disc changer, thinking it'd be more music than I could handle, finding 6 months later I only rotated them twice :p

For me to consider something like this, I'd need ~100 G of storage, minimum.

"Thanks to the auto sync feature, it can sit out in your garage and fetch the content you want while you?re snug in bed."

If you can't, sue them for false advertizing. :)

Or try this:
"In a pinch, you can use the USB-equipped removable HDD (20 gigs, remember?) to shuttle data between home and work."

It uses laptop HDD's. It can be upgraded. Visit http://members.cox.net/techfire/omnifi/start.html for more info.

I was kicking myself for missing this the first time, so I got in this time. I had been looking for something to fulfill both the home and car functions...I was looking at a new MP3-CD player headunit for the car at $180 or so. This will allow me to keep what I have and will tie in nicely. I'm looking forward to playing with this new toy.

FWIW, it sold out by 8:30am or so the first time, but is still available for anyone that is interested. RadioShack sells the D-Link branded version of the car unit only for $600 (though out of stock, so that price is unrealistic) but shows it is a good deal.

Just picked it up myself. I have a classic truck that I don't want to lose the "stock" look, but want to have some tunes as well.

This will be perfect!

Thanks Frykun!

ebay is flooded with these right now at that price and lower. Just so you know if you think to turn it around for a quick buck.

Bought one last time and I wanted to get a second one. One for each car and the home units for multiple rooms. For $200 I don't think I can go wrong.

You're full of it. The lowest "Buy it now" price there was $259.00. The auctions with current bids lower than $200 had five and six days to run. Take your FUD and shove it.

Edit: I bought one just because. Don't even really need it.

I have ordered from Woot a few times and the items arrive in 10-14 days.

Sold out. I was tempted. There's a gaping hole in my dash where the stereo used to be.

Nice deal. I would have jumped on this had I not just got a new headunit in Jan.
