Rockets are playing some great basketball, NBA champs anyone?

They've beated SA Spurs twice this year, how are they not a favorite to win it all?🙂

Discuss.

The Rockets have very little chance of making it to the championship. With the way the Spurs and the Suns are playing, I think they are probably the teams to beat this year. Barring injury to Duncan, I think the Spurs have the best chance this year. Houston is #7 overall in the West, and 11 games back. That's quite a lot of ground to make up before the are crowned champs.

btw, Kidd / Carter is slowing becoming one of the dominant 1-2 punches in the NBA.

And when RJ is back from injury, that's a scary trio to contend with. If they had a big man, it would be too difficult to juggle touches for all of them.

Regular season means nothing. The spurs will get out of the west as long as TD stays healthy. Van Gundy has them playing well, but its hard to imagine him ever winning a championship.

sac is out in the first round
