Rockband for PS2 - Compatibility

We just bought Rockband for PS2 and it's been a blast (same game/songs and equipment as PS3 version), however we want to buy another guitar for the 4th player. Just not sure which one will work for the PS2. Any help/advice is appreciated!
 
Any PS2 Guitar Hero guitar will work. BB usually has a couple different one for between 30-60. 60 being wireless I believe.

Now you won't get the extra fret buttons down the neck as the RB guitar, and when you move to a PS3, the Guitar Hero controllers will not move with you.
 
I heard only guitars from GH1 and GH2 will work. Not sure how true that is. I been playing with a GH1 guitar just fine.
