Rockband 2/ Guitar Hero World Tour Question

If I understand correctly, the instruments for these two games are interchangeable. I am wanting to play both, plus Guitar Hero Metallica when it comes out. Which game has the better instruments (specifically drums)? Also, if the Rockband 2 drums are better, is there a way to connect a second drum pedal? Thanks.
 
check out the Guitar hero WT forums on their official website, all the answers will be there (for GH:Metallica) soon enough. Lots of speculation.

I have rock band 2 (drums + guitar + mic) and it works just fine on Guitar hero WT for PS3.... The cymbals add-on for the drum bugs on GH however...

Keep in mind that RB drums have four lanes of notes while GH has five lanes of notes. I think an adaptor is needed to connect a second drum pedal.
