yep.... that's how summerslam is gonna go down. now... how is the rock gonna flop the f5? should be interesting...

EDIT - it was kinda funny seeing fans chant "rocky sux". did anyone else catch the rock cursing at the fans in the middle of the match? oh well... og make ur stinking movie "wok"... :disgust:

basically... it was like everyone did everyone else's finishing move on each other twice. in the end, angle got rock bottomed by the rock and the ref counted to 3 right before the undertaker could break the count. the match wasn't bad... entertaining.

lame lame lame!!!!!!! The Rock beings shooting that new movie Heldorado (whatever it's called) September 3rd - considering Summer Slam is August 25th - geee I wonder who is going to win the Undisputed Championship at SS? Gawd at least give the title to someone who is going to be there another 2-3 months down the road so he can have a nice title reign. This is so fvcking lame giving The Rock the title when he's just going to shoot movies every 2 months. Rock will probably flip himself over the rope when Brock hits the F5 because he oversells everything

I remember once or twice when Austin stunned him he flipped himself (err kinda rolled) out of the ring through the bottom 2 ropes. Can't be that hard to flip yourself over it

Smolek - true but so would Angle and/or UT - UT knows he's getting old - you have to pass the buck sometime, and Angle knows how lucky he got getting to the top so fast by having others put him over

I'm not enjoying seeing Stephanie McMahon as a face. She's wearing too much clothing. :p

I wanted to see a clean finish for the RVD-Lesnar match. DQ finishes just don't do it for me.

I liked the "You fvcked up!" chants when The Undertaker escaped (the first time...heh) for a split second from Angle's "choke."

The plan had been to get a rock vs. brock SS main since Austin walked out because of his schedule and the need to get a new name up to the top quick. They felt Rock could do it best so they went to him. Anyways when its time for Angle to get the belt he needs a long reign and not a hot shot deal (as this may be ;)) thats why he wasnt given the belt tonight.

I thought this PPV was horrible.

We didn't even watch the main event cause we knew the Rock would win. It leaked out on the internet that next months WWE mag had Brock and Rock on the cover talking about their match at Summerslam. Plus you need a face to fight a heel.

Brock Vs. Rock? Brock will win. He doesn't deserve it at all, but he will win. The Rock is going to be gone in a month anyway to work on his next movie.

I wished NWA-TNA would get a cable deal so I could catch some of that. Although $10 a week for a PPV isn't that bad. From what I have heard they could give the WWE a run for their money in the wrestling department. They don't have big names like the Rock, etc... (Their big names are people like Hall, Jarrett, Shamrock, Sabu, etc...)

I don't like the idea of making Lesnar the champion. I'm already bored by him. IMO, it's the Goldberg syndrome (destroy every opponent) but with a mouth piece (Heyman). I understand why they need more top guys quickly, but why not push the more established guys like Benoit or Jericho? Benoit can't really cut a promo, but at least he doesn't have to rely on grunts, nostril flaring, and flexing like Brock.

Moving on to the other Canadian...You have to feel sorry for Jericho. The guy finally gets a break by winning and holding the undisputed title for a few months, and main events a couple PPVs. They take that away, and now he has to job to a new wrestler. I suppose jobbing wouldn't be too bad, except that he got pinned because his finisher was countered. Am I the only one that's given up hope on the writers doing something to help Jericho in the long-term? *sigh*

Yea, I feel bad for Y2J.. they arent giving him anything good to work with. But then again, he also seems like he doesnt care quite as much anymore.. Like his entrances the past few weeks.. hes just getting into position when the camera hits him.. normally hes already there.. LOL..

I think they should bring his old 'entertaining' personality.. The 'bottom-feeding-two-bit-trash-bag-ho" Jericho, and give him the title again.. that would be great..
