DELISH sunflower seeds purchased at Ralphs. They were pretty good until I bit down on a black rock. Anyone else ever find stuff like this in their packaged food?

Yeah, how did a rock even end up in a bag of things grown out of the ground?

Hope your teeth are OK.

Maybe it was a dried piece of sunflower stem? I've had those in my sunflower seeds before quite a few times, and they are quite hard.

Sounds like at least $50,000 worth of pain and suffering to me. PLUS your mental anguish, in that you'll always be worried when eating sunflower seeds for the rest of your life. Easily worth another $100,000.

I like how you think, Nebor.

It's definitely a rock. It's black and shiny.

Keep it, photograph it. Take it to a personal injury attorney.

Honestly I am scared to eat more sunflower seeds now. And my teeth are okay but I think I have had some psychosomatic pain inflicted. The rock does look like a sunflower seed in shape/size but it gives a much less satisfying crunch.

I actually like the stems. It's a bonus suprise.
