wow ya I heard that review was coming today or tomorrow.

Wow at that dlc. ALL of that is good except maybe I'd pass on the Wolfmother. They are ok though.

That is some incredible dlc I wonder why no mention of the Who album.

probably only mentioning things that have not been announced before.

They already stated The Who album and a Nirvana album would be coming this year (iirc).

i'm just hoping prices are more realistic than GH3's DLC: 6.25 for 3 songs? Ech. If the prices are the same for RB or very similar, we could be looking at $20 albums. 🙁

Yeah but the cool thing about Harmonix is they have stated as late as today that all these songs in the packs and album will be available for individual download.

if I use the guitar from Guitar Hero III, will that be ok or will I miss out on some of the extras / specials features and should just wait until February and by the RB branded guitar?

Theres little buttons on the bottom of the neck that are duplicates of the ones at the top. It could possibly make it easier for tapping but Most people seem to prefer the gh3 guitar because the rb guitar is the suck.

You'll be missing out on the drums though.

no, I meant I'll get the Rock Band package, but still be short one bass / guitar. Sounds like those little buttons are really that sweet.

Oh yeah that is what I'm gonna do. It isn't worth buying another RB guitar for the bass if you got GH guitars. I think I'm gonna use my gh3 as the main and gh2 as the bass. I really don't like the rb guitar but maybe I'll get used to it.

I'll probably just use the controller if I want to try the drums. I suck at drums

meant to say the extra buttons don't seem to really add anything.

Played the setup at Best Buy. I've never played the game before, so I tried out the drums. Did the Nirvana song on Expert, and got a 92%. Either I'm a really good beginner, or it's an easy song (going for the latter). Then again, I played DDR and some Taiko game a while back (and was pretty good).

It is totally different without the bass pedal. It is ridiculously easy without it. Add the pedal and you will be on medium. At least that is what I hear because it requires the coordination between your foot and hand.

Man they really do seem like they are doing things right.

Check this out. I dunno how they are going to integrate it. I guess the tiers can change or something.

""All downloadable content can be used in all modes of the game - either by yourself in the Solo Tour, integrated into your band's setlists in Band World Tour, available for head-to-head competition either locally or online, and from any Quickplay mode.""

they may not be doing the same tier-based set-list that we are all used too. they could also just have a list of songs that you need to beat, and for tours, there may be a list of downloaded songs that, since you've downloaded them, they are now required to play?

After seeing the awesomeness of this mode, it's not hard to figure out how it will work.
