Next week for DLC we have a Grateful Dead Pack!

Grateful Dead Pack (all songs by the Grateful Dead)

?China Cat Sunflower? (Master)
?Casey Jones? (Master)
?Sugar Magnolia? (Master)
?Truckin" (Master)
?Franklin?s Tower? (Master)
?I Need A Miracle? (Master)

All songs can be bought individually for $1.99 (160 Microsoft Points) or the whole pack can be purchased for $9.99 (800 Microsoft Points).

LINK

I remember these being on the leaked list, but it was never mentioned for March, so Harmonix is definately keeping us guessing. I like it. I'm not a big Dead head, but there could be some good/fun stuff here.

cool... I'm not a bid Dead Head either... but I'll buy a couple of those. I don't think i'll buy the whole pack but a few of them sound fun. I'm going to have to look them up on youtube though, some of them are probably songs I don't recognize titles for.

Hmm... so I guess it's a bad thing that the ONLY Grateful Dead song this 25 year old knows is "Touch of Grey"? Doh...

I'm 30, and its really one of the only ones I know.. probably thanks to the fact it was their first video and their only song to appear in the top 100 of Billboard.

Then you really should pick up some GD cds. They have some great stuff. I recommend the 2 disk Europe 1972 tour as a start. Great live concert. Yes, I own the original vinyl when it was first released. :) Then do the Dick's Picks. Or, get skeletons from the closet. Its a greatest hits album from the 70s.

Well, I DLed all the GD tunes and LOVE it. Not your usual RB stuff but I love the GD and its a blast to play on hard/expert with DD 5.1 stereo blasting. Well worth the $$$. But only if you love the GD. :)

I was playing the other day online -- and the other players had golden instruments.. What does the gold instrument signify? Does that mean they have beaten all songs on expert? Also when you play online and the Leader goes to choose a song to play why do some of the songs have blue dots next to them? And if you buy DLC and you want to play it online does everyone have to have the same DLC?

And I was wondering about the vocals part -- when I play online I usually don't hear the person singing I just hear the normal vocals that are part of the song -- but every once in a while I do hear the person actually singing.. Is it supposed to be like that?

Gold instruments means we finished a tour. Silver for easy, gold for medium and so on. I have all gold. :) Be grateful you dont hear the singing. Ug. When I am not playing in a group I do guitar and vocals, and beleive me, you dont want to hear me sing.

From GameFAQs:
Gold Kit Complete Solo Tour with Drums.
Gold Microphone Complete Solo tour with Vocals.
Silver Fender American Deluxe Stratocaster HSS Complete Bonus Tour on Solo Tour with guitar.
Silver Kit Complete Bonus Tour on Solo Tour with Drums.
Silver Microphone Complete Bonus Tour on Solo Tour with Vocals
Transparent Drum Kit Enter Hall of Fame Status on Drums
Transparent Fender Bass Enter Hall of Fame Status on Bass
Transparent Fender Stratocaster Enter Hall of Fame Status on Guitar

The transparent are cool, but gold looks the best, IMO.

Blue Dot = "Indie-ish" Song from the bonus tour

Yes.
