This has been posted at a few different places, but I thought I'd give you guys a heads up as well.

It's not a price mistake according to the fine lady at the counter. Applies to Wii, PS3, and 360 versions.

Also, side note, they had 60 Wiis in stock!

PM'd this to Wal-Mart as the local TRU was already out of stock, just missed the last one. Circuit City & Wal-Mart both denied me the gift card PM.

Wow, this actually worked. Went to the TRU in Bellflower CA - they had like 40 360 bundles left. When I went up the girl was confirming with her supervisor some printout and I thought the deal was over. Printout basically said they will honor the price error but only one per customer. Snagged one there then went to the TRU in Alhambra (had about 15 left). Guy there would let me buy as many as I wanted, but I only needed one more.

So $240 (2x$120 bundle) - $50 (2x$25 gc) - $180 (sell one bundle on CL) = $10 for a bundle. SWEET!

My current drums are starting to go and I am out of RMA period, thanks OP!

confirmed deal at the Ann Arbor, MI Arborland mall store. The display showed normal price + the gift card, but at the register the price got marked down to 110. $~115 w/ tax - 25 = $90 for RB2. HOT!!! They had one or two xbox 360 versions and several PS3 if anyone lives in the area. Didn't see any for the wii.

so is this a price mistake?

I picked one up in Hamden, CT for the 360. ... of course i don't have a 360 yet, but i figure there wont be a deal as good as this in the next 6 months and i will buy a 360 by then.
they also have "rockband 1" for wii for $109, but dunno if it comes with the gift card.

how do returns work with the gift card? (i want to buy one for the parents at this price)
if they return it, but i dont give them the gift card do they only get $85 store credit?

this is YMMV now, except the NYC flagship store and places out of nowhere. Only hope is for them to restock it. BUt I doubt that.

OOS at the Redwood City, CA location. The cashier said there was literally a fist fight over the last one about 15 minutes before I got there.

OOS now in pittsburgh, pa. They had a good number of them at toys r us in Robinson, PA, which Best Buy refused of price match(even though the item was in stock at the closest toys R us), something that they received an email from corporate stating not to price match ANY target or toys r us ads from this week? Was hoping they'd just match the price, not even the GC, since I had a $100 BB GC already. Ended up just going over to Toys R Us and picking one up. Ended up getting the 2nd to last one, and a guy 2 people behind me in line got the other.

Got a 360 version. Sold the $25GC to a buddy for $20, which he promptly put it towards the PS3 version after I informed him of the deal. Not a bad deal at all for ~ $100.

I had to go to Walmart, my local Toys R Us was sold out. They matched the $109 price, but would not honor/give the giftcard.
Still not a bad price, though I've read some have had luck getting Walmart to subtract the value of the giftcard from the $109

Still had 5 when I left last night.

I heard you can use Rock Band 2 for Guitar Hero WT, anyone tried this?

My sister and I were easily able to get Walmart to pricematch this for us. The manager said as long as there is a Toysrus withing 50 miles of the Walmart that you are asking to pricematch that company policy is that they have to pricematch it. He said Walmart will not match the gift card though. But that sure wasn't a deal killer as my sister and I were able to pick up $190 Rockband 2 for $109. Nice Deal.

you also have to have the actual circular ad (from the newspaper or wherever you get it). You can't use internet print outs at Walmart.

YMMV, but I was able to pricematch to Best Buy (Downers Grove, IL) w/o the giftcard. I just said I wanted to pricematch to TRU and the girl at the checkout said "you mean the $109 deal" and pricematched it without even seeing the flier. I didn't have my Best Buy GCs on me so I will have to go back tonight and try to rebuy it. Circuit City would match it as well w/o the GC after they saw my internet printout of the ad.
