Hey Tech
I just bought the Roccat Kave headset and had it sent to my house for my new build. Im deployed so I wont be able to physically use them for another month or so but id like to be ready when i can.
I am currently looking for a good soundcard to accompany the Kaves. I was first considering the Asus Xonar DG but after doing reading on other sites I have come to the Asus Dx or the Asus D1, or maybe the HT Omega.
Does anyone have any personal experience with any of these cards? I believe the DX version (PCI-Express) requires a floppy connector from PSU for power where as the D1 (PCI) does not.
Im looking for a stable card to run in Win 7 x64 that can give me full use of this headset. I would like to keep the price ~$80 if possible.
TIA
