Robotech: The Shadow Chronicles

:Q - I know what I'll be waiting for now.

thought at the end of the third Robotech War, the Invid ascended to a higher plane of existence.

I sort of sounds like there is a another enemy that makes itself known after the Invid ascend. Maybe someone who wasn't strong enough to challenge the Invid, but more than a match for the remains of the REF after their battle with the Invid.

Voice acting looks baaaad...even with Mark Hamil.

Added it to my Blockbuster queue anyways. 😀

The Invid were so cool. At least they were back in the 80s.
Yeah, I read this whole series in the late 80's.

So this happens after the Invid left or whatever, and the humans were back living on Earth?

My details are fuzzy, as I never watched any of the shows, just read the books.

I dunno, I loved robotech/macross back in the 80s, but I can't tell if this is going to be good or a piece of crap. Macross Zero started out decent, but I didn't like how it ended.

This takes place at the very end of the new generation series... well... last episode anyways... I watched it yesterday. Got it from Netflix. i'm watching the bonus material now

Wow, talk about old memories. Robotech pretty much is responsible for the popularity of the mech genre anime. The Valkyrie (Veritech) is the most recognizable mech in all of anime.

Looks like Harmony Gold is not letting it die. I will add to my queue as well even though I got a feeling this is going to suck@ss.

Actually I think Gundam was the first.
