I read about how a robot is going to go in some tunnel in one of the great pyramids and let explorers know what exactly is behind the passageway. Supposedly this is supposed to air live today on some channel, but I'm not sure when and which station. So have any of you heard about this and know what time and channel this will be on?

It's on the national Geographic channel tonight at 7:30. Check NG's website for more info.

Well, I saw it last night on FOX and let me give you the review: Other than the British chick who had a fairly nice bod, (It was about the only thing that made the show worth watching) the whole flow of the program SUCKED! It was not like a regular National Geographic production. It had too much silly "reality show" type hype that was somewhat insulting of the viewing audience's intelligence. It seemed too much like an infomercial when they dialoged with the head Egyptian Archeologist.

They would switch back and fourth between opining up a sarcophagus in one tomb and the "robot" story. When on the sarcophagus story, they would occasionally show you a small window update of the "Robot cam!" giving the stat: "25 feet to go..." or something like that. It really was lame. It had some interesting stuff, but I didn't at all care for the silly staged format.

So I give it a Roger Ebert "2 thumbs down"
