Roboform for iOS and Android

It sucks but do all password manager apps on here have to work where you can only use them when browsing in their browser ?

I prefer to be able to use my Atomic browser.

Good thing I was able to get Roboform for free to first see how it would work on iOS.

I have no idea what you're asking.

I use LastPass on Android, and all of the features are built into a special keyboard. When you need to populate a field, you select the LastPass keyboard, log in, and select the site. The app does the rest.

I use KeePass on Linux, Windows and Android and it has copy/paste functionality on Android so you can paste into any text box. It's an extra step to open KeePass and copy the password, but simple enough for me.

Lastpass has a few good options, but it should be pointed out that Lastpass Mobile requires [a measly] annual fee of $12 iirc.
You can simply use the app for copy/paste functions into whatever browser (and other apps) that you wish.
Or, you can access websites using the browser built into the app.
Or, you can use the keyboard.

Personally, I use the copy/paste functionality and simply pull up the app whenever necessary. I like Swiftkey and I like Chrome.
Additionally, Lastpass has an addon for Dolphin Browser HD. I sometimes use that if I need embedded Flash as well (no Flash in Chrome for Android).

That sucks that you must use copy and paste. There is no other way like it works for IE and Firefox?

If you use Dolphin Browser HD, it is a plugin.

Otherwise, no - aside from the built-in browser in Lastpass, there are no other browsers with native access like desktop browsers. Mobile browsers and plugins are a rare thing - if you want plugins, get Dolphin Browser HD. It's a snappy browser too, btw. 🙂

I prefer Chrome for the cross-platform functionality (default browser on PC as well) and on my Galaxy Nexus it is very snappy, but Dolphin is snappy too.

I imagine there is a Lastpass plugin for the iOS Dolphin Browser HD.

Hmm, looking on Dolphin's website, there might not be any plugin capability for the iOS app. Sort of makes sense, considering the platform.

Sorry for your luck. 😛
For Android however, it is definitely a viable option.

Not really, it's the only way to be totally generic and support every app. I don't use the browser on my phone nearly as much as the individual apps and being able to paste into each app's login boxes is effectively necessary. The only way I can see around that is to do what AFurryReptile said LastPass does and include it's own input method, which wouldn't work on iOS anyway, which I would never use because I love SwiftKey X.

Ok thanks and copy &paste is annoying when having to do it for usernames and passwords

Then how would you propose that an app developer support putting username/passwords into every app available for iOS or Android?
