robocopy mirror with rotating destinations?

I did some quick tests here and believe it works without issue, but thought I'd post to see if anyone else is doing something similar.

I want to use Robocopy for nightly backups to a USB hard drive, but I want to rotate between multiple destination USB hard drives.

To save time I'd like to use the Robocopy mirror function. I believe this function calculates differences between the source and destination every time it is run, so I think this should work fine, but again I wanted to double check.

So I want to make sure that Robocopy will mirror all changes since the last time the currently plugged in destination was used (NOT the last time Robocopy was run).

Make sense? Can anyone confirm?

Wrong forum???

/MIR looks at datetime stamp of object not robocopy run I believe. It copies only newer files/dirs over, deletes files/dirs that are no more in source.

Test, test and test as MIR will waste your stuff if used incorrectly.
