I'm watching the Bill Maher show on HBO, and Robin Williams is one of the panel members. Jesus is he irritating. It's like he literally can't stop performing until people laugh, even when he's not saying anything funny. He's like a trained monkey. He is definitely witty, but he's also really really annoying. I'd really like it if he would shut the hell up . . .

I actually like Gilbert Gottfried, in that his whole act is based on being annoying. Robin Williams gets credit for being some kind of comic genius, but I just find him completely irritating. Again, I think he's a witty guy, but he'd probably be funnier minus all the verbal diarrhea.

I agree completely with the OP. Williams is also severely ADHD, that much should be obvious. And it isn't enjoyable. It's hard to watch a host trying to hold a conversation with him.
