From another thread.

Oh, and FYI: http://www.cinemablend.com/new...am-Rewritten-5348.html

Ridley Scott?s next movie is going in for rewrites. The movie is Nottingham, an upside-down take on the classic Robin Hood story with the Sheriff of Nottingham cast as a sympathetic figure facing off against a not-so-heroic prince of Sherwood Forest.

Well... the original character lived in a place where government taxation was brutally unfair and laws were unfairly eforced by underlins of an absentee king. He stole that tax money from the government and gave it back to the people all the while trying to protect as many 'outlaws' as he could.

Sounds like a hero to me.

did he wear a cape?

this is crucial information

Tights + no cape = megagay.

Unless you have an English accent. Then it's cool.

so since kevin costner had an accent for a quarter of the movie does that mean him and morgan freeman were the medievel version of batman and robin?
