I read through the wiki article on him, he has some remarkable achievements with environmental causes and the rights of indigenous peoples in the US and abroad, and I agree with him on many points through the 80's and 90's.
Why did he take the WTFBBQ pill and fall down the rabbit hole?

I'd pay to see those two mud wrestle.

Honestly. I get giddy just thinking about it. Trump the germaphobe and transphobe getting scissored by Jenner in the mud. Both in orange spandex.

Oh, I'm sorry. Were you eating?
Talking about scizzored, I actually I did have a lobster ravioli on my fork. I had to rummage the freezer and make my own tomato sauce in a pinch to spice it up a bit. Thankfully San Marzanos are red and not orange.

Just in case there aren't enough conspiracy theory nut jobs running for offices, we now have Democrat conspiracy theorist nut job Robert F Kennedy Jr filing the paperwork to run for President. Crazy seems to be becoming the norm.
Hey, more choices for the nutters who want to make America great again!

Wishful thinking is that he’d steal more “Independent”/QAnon votes from Trump vs. Biden based on who’s actually listening to him or promoting him—but in reality that just isn’t going to happen. He’s a Biden spoiler through and through—and his funders know this.

There may be a few older voters who still vote for anyone with the last name of Kennedy but they have to be a pretty thin crowd at this point. He has nothing else to offer anyone to left of Trump.

Nope. He's not going to get many independents or moderate Ds by headlining CPAC and his nut-ball anti-vaxx history.

Was talking to a Trumpie type out in Ohio in July, and he said he hates all the democrats, except "that RFK seems like a reasonable guy to me."

I don't know that this is bad news.

Doesn't take many with the stupidity that is the EC.

Right, but he'll likely peel more away from Trump than Biden because of how hard he's slanted to the right.

Point is, he's not gonna take moderates/undecideds away from Biden with how he's framing himself.

Yeah, he's gonna peel off some of the ill-informed young and stupid and conspiracy minded anit-vaxxers who might otherwise vote D. I know a few of them myself . . . the ones too pure to vote for Hillary.

I just want to make sure I understand properly: RFK Jr still has to make it through the Dem primary to become the Dem nominee, correct?

He cannot simply be on the presidential ballot with a (D) next to his name for laughs and giggles if the party doesn't support his candidacy no?

I can see him getting curb stomped in the primary and then running as an indie for the general, but I doubt he'll have a D next to his name on the general ballot.

No, that's why he just declared to be an independent.

Ahhh didn't see that the original article, which says he's running as a Dem, was from April...

Guess he's going to try greener pastures.

Luckily, as an independent, people will be forced to actually read about him instead of just voting by party lines.
