In a post calling their deaths "very sad", President Donald Trump criticised Reiner, saying that they "reportedly" died "due to the anger he caused others through his massive, unyielding, and incurable affliction" with "Trump Derangement Syndrome".

"He was known to have driven people CRAZY by his raging obsession of President Donald J. Trump," the president wrote.

And later, he doubled down on his remarks even when his own people called him out.

“I wasn’t a fan of his at all.”

“I think he hurt himself career-wise. He became like a deranged person,” Trump told reporters. “So I was not a fan of Rob Reiner at all, in any way, shape or form. I thought he was very bad for our country.”

I know someone who IS very bad for our country. A deranged person to boot.
