Roaming profiles a thing of the past?

Hi,

Are roaming profiles being thought as a thing of the past, given the alternative folder redirection teamed up with group policies?

I would like to hear some oppinions on this matter, as I'm setting up a small network (Windows 2003 Server SBS and 4 Windows XP Pro workstations).

A lot of people still use Roaming User Profiles and MSFT still supports them. Folder redirection is great and will frequently be used as a complimentary technology to roaming user profiles (so their documents stay out of the profile).

I guess the question is what are you looking to accomplish?
