Time Warner RR in Queens, NY is dog slow.
Speakeasy shows around 150-200kb for most dloads, up is better at 300kb.
Damn, this sucks.:|

My cable's going slow, but only because I'm clogging it up with lots of downloading.

Odd, my comcast is the same tonight. It's running about 500-700kb.

Maybe there's a major pipe down somewhere?

EDIT: Upon checking again, I'm around 1700kb right now. It's gone up since a few hours ago.

Yes.

I was noticing it too.

I've got TWC RR in Fort Lee, NJ.

Its pretty bad. I tried downloading a 40K file and it took like 30 secs.

isn't the electricity fudged up in Queens right now? not sure if that would affect your RR service. here in upstate NY RoadRunner is zipping along.

Nah, I'm east of the area you're referring to- Astoria in the west has been through hell with nearly a week w/o power.:( Imagine the food, the stink, and loss of business.

This is just a temporary annoyance, hopefully.:disgust:

Still slow. Getting about 100KB/s max where it's usually ~600KB/s. WTF? I am on East 30th, where is everyone else?
