Well, putting in the address for someone i know to have time warner cable, it says " We're sorry, it appears your area is not serviced by Time Warner at this time"

they run this "deal" all the time.

show me where i can get my Time Warner bill lowered as a long time customer and i'd call that a hot deal.

I hop between Earthlink and RoadRunner - one of them usually has a deal going on

$23.95/mo. 3mbit/512kbit stable SBC DSL FTW! 😛

I agree, I see this crap all the time. It's funny they can't drop their rates below $45/month for broadband.

Lets see what they do when wireless finally comes to my city 🙂

I say FU TWC

RR is good. I live just 30miles north of KC and I have to pay 55 bucks for a 1.5Mbit line from my horrible cable provider. And in KC, 5Mbit for less!! Be happy people. But, i'm poor so instead I pay 20 bucks for a 100kbit line from that same cable company. No matter what I do i'm getting reemed.

RR is spoiling u guys with that 5Mbit line for less than 50 bucks!

dude, i am waiting to tell Roadrunner to stick it too for $45/mo.

the town over just got city wide wireless for $19.95/mo. with antennas put up on their water towers.
hopefully we are next.

Just signed up with Earthlink for $29.95 a month for the first six months and 41.95 after that. I am currently with Road Runner!
They will call next week to set up an appointment to come and install it. I have to figure out how to do this so that I don't pay for both for a month!

You will not. I did the same once I ran out of the first 6 months for 29 and I switched to Earthlink. The guys from rr called and they just changed the ID (whatever that means0 to earthlink 🙂 nobody ever came to the house.
