My internet (Road Runner), continuously resets itself every few minutes or so. As soon as I start downloading its ALWAYS below 10kbs. If I turn on a file sharing program and start a download, it automatically shuts off. I dont know what this problem could be caused by. If you guys have any information, I'd appreciate it. Thanks
 
Just have the one computer. No Router. Unless you are talking about the Cable Modem "Fin" I have. I have reset that and tried that. It resets itself too every few minutes.
 
Is your network card in your PC set to auto for connection speed and is it a 10/100 card? All network cables have to be cat5 or higher (i think).
 
Network connections in control panel. The cables should have writing on the side of them (get out the reading glasses possibly).
