Hi there,

I just wanted to get everyone's opinion to see if 6Mb down, 512kb up is worth $65.95 a month?

Currently I have in my home 3Mb down, 384kb up.

Here are the current things I do with the cable connection I have now:

- Download Anime w/ bittorrent
- Play games (CS:S, WoW, etc)
- Casual Surfing
- Honeypot

I'm am satisfied with my current connection, but I can always use more power.

Just wanted to get everyone's view on this. Thanks

Personally I think 3mb on the downstream is more than enough power. Thats exactly what i have but if your sharing that connection with multiple people it might help to double your speed.

You may want the faster upload speed. I used to have a connection that was 3Mb/384k and I went to a 4Mb/768k and noticed it whenever I hosted games or did uploads. I assume you have people downloading from you when you use bittorrent. If so, they would notice the speed increase.

I have 4 MB down, 256 K up.
If I could double that for $25 I would in a heartbeat, but then again, I (over)use the connection I have.

It just depends on how much speed you need, I would love the additional upstream, but fost likely you will rarely (if ever) be using more than 3-4MB down, unless you run multiple downloads at once (not talking about bittorrents that are only going to run at ~150kb/s ifyou're lucky)
