eeewww, hate roaches! :disgust:

I would open up that toaster (unplugged of coarse), and spray it with lysol, and wash it with soap and water.

BTW, look for roach eggs, theyre very good at that, laying eggs every where they come from, if you find a lot of eggs, just throw the damn thing out!

Yeah no kidding. Where the hell do you live that you need to cover the toaster to avoid roach infestation?

i live with my girlfriend and her parents. they are of filipino decent. they could care less if a rat died in the toaster, they would still use it. when we lived upstairs, we had a microwave. it had a dead roach just laying in the part where it reads the time left for the warming up.

How old are you? It might be time to look for your own place.

Actually, most roach infestations have nothing to do with the cleanliness of a home. They are simply an urban pest that can live anywhere. German roaches, on the other hand, are a sign of extreme uncleanliness.

- Turn on toaster
- Once toasted, spear roach with fork
- Dip roach into melted chocolate
- Enjoy

Mmm mmm good.

I agree! But they do prefer dirty areas.

Oh my God! I want to puke. I detest cockroaches like hell. I detest them as much a I detest the rats, if not worse. Ewwwwww! I couldn't eat any food that I'm aware they were around. They're the unforgivable creatures. And the scariest part is how so fast they reproduce and those ones that can fly. I pray never to live around cockroaches.

Yes, of course they prefer dirty areas...more food sources.

And if you dislike cockroaches so much, might I never suggest moving to New Orleans or Southern Florida. :) I always thought NO had the worst roach problem, until I went to Miami. Swarming Palmetto Bugs made me feel like I was witnessing some sort of Biblical plague. *shudder*
