Bold move for the RNC. When's David Duke speaking?

Reading thru the article, it's clear she's a religious nutter. Still, in this day and age, it's hard to fathom what a woman must feel about herself if she thinks that a husband and wife are not equals
Tomorrow. The Republican Party talking us back to the early 1900s

Well if she doesn`t want to vote, what is the problem? One less Republican vote....
She should be home, dressed in a unbecoming frock, no make-up, no jewelry, asking her husband, the head of the household, what kind of sandwich he wants. Not allowed to watch TV, not allowed to read, not allowed an education, serving the purpose god designed her for, cranking out babies on a regular basis.

Agreed. If she believes her own mantras she'd shut the hell up and go make her husband a sandwich in his (not her because women shouldn't own anything) kitchen.

For a side that keeps crying about Sharia law, this is pretty darn close to it.
The weird bit is she thinks that she should have no say in her household but she should be able to tell people in your household what to do.

I mean... technically all the men got together a long time ago and decided that all the women should get to vote. Why is this lowly woman who belongs in a kitchen making sandwiches and in a bedroom making babies trying to undo what a bunch of men decided? How dare she go against the wishes of men!

And, not ironically, the conservatives never seem to want to revert back to early 1900’s tax rates...only on divisive social issues that were put in place by a white minority.

Not even early 1900s.

You don't have to go back more than an older Millenial/younger Gen X lifetime to have tax rates that encouraged oligarchs to keep their wealth invested in the country instead of it going to Wall St. criminals to inflate bubbles.

The only thing the Republican Party ever does is give the rich more money to buy more of the government for themselves. Everything else they pretend to care about is just conjuring words to get the base to keep giving them all their money and votes.

Republicans are just like Lucy holding a football for Charlie Brown to kick, where Lucy represents Republican politicians, the football represents social issues Republicans dangle as incentive to buy into their abject bullshit, and Charlie Brown represents Republican base voters being fooled yet again.

Missing the big picture here.... WHY would the RNC allow her or speakers like this IN THE FIRST PLACE? That, is the question. We all know that people like her do exist, that is nothing new, but to give people like this a platform on national TV during prime-time? THAT is something new, and so so WRONG!!!!
they couldn't get anyone else?

Same person has also has made racist statements against her own adopted son.

She’s a known grifter. I’m appalled the GOP gave her a national platform.

It seems pretty much On Brand at this point.

Appalled? Yes. Surprised? Not in the slightest.

That is not weird, it is the teachings of many religions, including christianity. Some have moderated that teaching, while the fundamentalists practice it.

  • “But what happens when the husband is a Republican and the wife is a Democrat or vice versa?” a Twitter user asked Johnson.
  • “Then they would have to decide on one vote. In a Godly household, the husband would get the final say,” she replied.
Oh hell no. There is considerable appeal in having a strong and independent partner. Nutjobs that want women as slaves can GTFO.
