RNC Convention: Divine Intervention?

So the apocalyptic Hurricane Isaac is heading for the RNC Convention in Tampa early next week.

Wasn't there a delay in, or mid-way though, the 2008 RNC Convention because of Hurricane Gustav?

Or, is it Hurricane Todd (Akins) that will cause a significant change of events for the RNC-ers?

There's "divine intervention" for all those holy rollers out there! Fitting, huh? ;-) LOL

At most this is projected to be a Category 1 hurricane when it hits the mainland (as I recall it is barely a tropical storm right now). I think the 24/7 news commentators have made a mouse into a lion in order to pump their viewership. Not like this would be the first time that happened.

It probably will wreck havoc with the airline schedules though, regardless of where landfall is.
