Anyone ever RMA a case or PSU to Antec? The power supply on my Sonata II is squealing and they told me to send it back. Am I going to have to pay to send it? What's the SOP for these kinds of situations? I know I should just ask them...but I'm impatient.;) Thought I'd see if anyone's been through this.

You'll probably have to pay shipping just because that's the way things work. There are few companies that will pay to ship there defective product back to the to fix what should have worked in the first place...at least in my experience.

It varies by MFG. Did you get it from Newegg under a year ago? They may be able to help as well.

Call their support for immediate replies, but I would assume that you would have to pay. I have dealt with OCZ power supplies being RMA'd and have had to ship it out to them following packing guidelines.

Usually you pay to get it to them; then they pay the return freight.

Best to ask.

Varies by manufacturer as peopole said. In my experience, some will cover shipping on DOA stuff, but if you've had it awhile you're probably paying one-way shipping.
