RMA'ing my asus a7v133

anyone ever RMA an asus mobo? i think i have to rma mine, is there a lot of hassle? is it a quick turn around? do i need things like receipt? place of purchase? etc...??

Where did you get it from? If it's over 30 days, chances are you're screwed. ASUS is OK with RMAing from my standpoint, though I use EPoX more than ASUS. Check your vendor's return policy. That's a start. If you bought it at a RETAIL STORE, you should need a receipt. At best Retail Stores will give you store credit w/o a receipt. Online, the vendor's rep is really the determining factor. Check out http://www.reselleratings.com to see if your online vendor favors well with the buying public!

i bought it here on anandtech a long time ago, got it DOA, was supposed to try rmaing it back then, got too lazy, now i need a mobo, so i need to rma it
