I had a brand new MB that had a few problems, like the DIMM port 2 wouldn't reconize any RAM at all. I sent the MB back and have been waiting since Jan 24th, 2005 . I've just checked and tuff luck no help.
I have to continue to wait...........

Good thread, very good thread.

You basically told us something, then told us what we would tell you (tough luck) and finished the thread before any of us could reply. Best thread of 2005 nominee for sure.

Very good informative thread.

I especially liked how you turned the whole world of RMA upside down with the phrase:
"I've just checked and tuff luck no help."

*votes for best thread of 2005*

Kudos to Maddox for the stealage.

Why won't the place you bought it from handle a replacement for you?

Well it's only been 4 business days since they received it, give them some more time.

it is a warranty replacement, why would they do it quickly? you already paid for it, they aren't going to get a :cookie: if they spend big $ getting you the replacement uber fast

7 days, eh? Maybe there's a "The Ring"-style chain of death associated with MSI motherboards?

that's a crappy excuse. I RMAd a Plextor PX-708A around the holidays. Total turn around was less than two weeks and my replacement was a PX-712A.

Plextor also has a LOT more reputation than MSI...when you build budget motherboards, you cut costs wherever you can. When you have a reputation for building some of the best burners out there, you care more about that reputation than cost-cutting.

Send them an email ask them to speed it up .. worked for me.. but they say 10 day turn around. I love MSI products they are great and end user RMA is pretty rare in its self. Send an email over to them worked for me everytime.
