Does BestBuy let you return the product if it is already opened? (Video card, mouse, and computer parts in general)

Another question is that, if a product is RMAed, do they get sent back to the manufacture for check up?
 
You can return a product depending on what it is (no software, etc) if you have the receipt and you are still in the grace period of that item (up to 30 days).
 
Best Buy Canada return/exchange policy:

- 14 day opened or unopened returns for full refund on computer CPUs, notebooks, monitors, printers, camcorders and digital cameras.
- 30 days on everything else, excluding the obvious like batteries and ink which can't be returned at 100% capacity.
- No returns on opened computer software, DVDs/VHS tapes, video games and music CDs.
