I bought an xp2100+ palamino a while back, haven't really used it. It was retail box. I might sell it and would like to let the buyer know that it's the 3 year, not 1 year warranty.

Is it the same case as rma'ing a hard drive where the serial number lets the company know whether it's still in warantee? I've never had to "prove" a hard drive was retail.

Somewhat off topic I know, but this seemed the best fit forum. Thanks

You must include the retail cooler that came with it.

Ooops.

You mean the one that gave it nice toasty temps in the mid 50's. Well, guess it just became oem.
Thanks punisher.
