I have some problems regarding RMA a VGa.
Specifically my vga is to be RMAed but it isnt in production so im getting another model. So there will be no use of my oldones Cables and Drivers (also I have send the old ones all Cables and CDs)

1. When RMA a product do we get a brandnew one OR a Used & Repaired on (in VGAs) ??

2. Do we get the all CDs, CABLES, manuals it comes new ?? (if we sent them old ones cables and other things) ??

Thanks.

You can download all the software from the website of the company normally. I think you get refurbed cards back for the most part, although you might get a new one if they are out of refurbs.

Manufacturers generally reserve the right to repair, or replace with a new or refurbished part.

Drivers aren't an issue, since you obviously have internet access, and should never use a CD for drivers if you can avoid it since they will always be out of date.

You should get all the cables and that sort of thing; if you get a refurbished part, it will be from a pile that were going to be sent out for liquidation anyway.

Of note - if there is a particular feature of your product that is important to you (maybe you have dual vga outputs or something, while many new cards can handle only one analogue display), mention it in your correspondence; good companies try to keep you happy through customer service.

i've had to RMA my 6800ultra and all i sent was the card, and i got a brand new 7800gt retail (6800 Ultra was oem or refrence donno which one)

U should get a new one, unless they can repair ur old one. I donno but maybe some manufacturers have different rules of RMA.
