RivaTuner 2.06 issue.

So I've got RiveTuner set to start automatically with Windows Vista x64. Normally I get 2 blocked instances of RivaTuner by UAC and I just start them both (1 is RivaTuner itself, 1 is the monitoring portion). After startup I'm usually left with the RivaTuner icon and the Core Temp icon in my system tray. After my last two startups, however, I no longer have 2 instances starting up, merely 1. And the temperature reading no longer appears in my system tray. If I go into monitoring setup to look at my Core Temp monitoring setup the "Core Temperature" option with the checkmark no longer appears in the list. I use RivaTuner for custom fan speeds based on GPU core temp but now I seemingly can't. Anyone know what could be going on here? I really don't want to have to manually set my fan speeds before and after gaming. Why would the Core Temp monitoring option just vanish?

I just uninstalled and reinstalled. The Core Temp monitoring is just missing. It's no longer in the list. If I add any of the plugins that contain Core Temp sensing, it just reads 0 degrees. What happened to my default Core Temp sensing? I'm so baffled as to why it would just vanish.

<edit>
I just realized that I also installed Spybot S&D and Adaware around the same time RT got buggy. I'm wondering if Spybot smoked the registry entry that caused the RT temp monitoring to start up and also if it's now interfering with RT sensing in some way. Anyone have any kind of experience that could relate?

If this has anything to do with this thread... I just installed the 2,.06 Rivatuner yesterday tryin to check my temps on my new GIgabyte 8800gt HP. I hd a previous version of RT installed earlier and that also didnt have the Monitoring icon available.... But now that i reinstalled the RT 2.06 i can check the temps and the clocks and for some weird reason... my core clock is at 450mhz, shader clock is 1188, my memory clock is 702mhz ... Isnt this weird? I thot my card is supposed to have a 700 core clock a 1900 memory clock... And then when i was logged off I saw a message from nVidia saying That my card is not getting enough power bla bla bla... SO maybe my card is being underclocked ? I only have a 3 year old Enermax 450W with 33A on the 12v... my core2duo E4300 is OC to 3.0 though...
Any ideas?
