Among those taking Apple head on is Sandisk. The company, which is better known for making memory cards, has launched a slim, lightweight iPod nano clone.


But it is going one better than Apple, offering its Sansa e200 which can hold up to six gigabytes of songs or video.

it's almost twice as thick as the nano, selling at the same price as the nano. with that thickness you might as well get a microdrive-based player.

Looks like Apple will hold the capacity record in the flash player league until the end of March anyway. But heh, nothing wrong with a bit competition.

I would choose this over the ipod, its priced the same too.
