Meritline has these for a little under a $1. Not hot, just thought I'd let you Ritek fans know.

25 pack = $24.75 shipped
50 pack = $47.70 "
100 pack = $90 "
200 pack = $172.80 "

For those who would rather trust Newegg, they got the 50 pack for $47.99 shipped.

These are shrink wrapped without the spindle so hopefully you got an empty one around.

Too bad newegg added they extra warehouses and now charge tax in TN... Lost my favorite online vendor. I did pick up a 50 pack from Meritline.

Yeah I've been sticking with Rima. Just ordered another 100 Ritek G04 w/ inkjet printable surface, came out to $110 after shipping and tax.

Yes, but most DVD burners, can burn G03s @ 2x with hacked firmwares. It would be incorrect to call G03s 2x, even though they are basically that. :D

i use both and ALWAYS order from meritline without any problems.

But since i bought the Epson R300 printer, i only buy the white printable dvd-rs with cases combo and also get the pre-cut matte dvd covers, all from meritline.
I swear my copies look almost identicle to the original dvd.

Meritline has some coupons out there. I wasn't spending enough to use them but if you are spending 100+ there is a $5 coupon.

No. G03s do have a 2x write descriptor. Pioneer, for some reason, refuses to add G03s to their media tables.

Pioneer used to sell 2x Pioneer branded media, so maybe that's the reason. Or maybe they want to discourage the use of 2x DVD-R media.

DVDInfo from an un-hacked DVD burner on G03 media:

Media Information
Region information N/A not a DVD-VIDEO
Media code/Manufacturer ID RITEKG03
Format Capacity Not Formatted
Free Blocks 411107328
Free Capacity 4.38GB(4.71GB)
Book Type DVD-R
Media Type DVD-R
Media Id Code Speed 1.0x 1385KBps
Available Write Descriptor CLV 2.0x 2770KBps
Write Strategy Speed 1.0x 1385KBps
Data area starting sector 30000h
Linear Density 0.267um/bit
Track Density 0.74um/track
Number of Layers 1

on a Pioneer, it comes out the same except "Available Write Descriptor CLV 2.0x 2770KBps" is missing.
