Yeah, the current state of PC gaming is pitiful.

What a joke that multi platform games are being used to bench new games. This new generation of cards is going to be the first generation that doesnt even have any new graphically intense games to play. I'm going to have my GTX 275 for a long, long time. I'm playing at 1920x1200 which is not exactly a low resolution either.

The game is a console port and was confirmed by the company that the 360 was the lead platform. There isn't even a HUD do to it being console focused.

Wrong. From Wikipedia

Risen is a single-player fantasy-themed action role-playing game[2] under development by the German company Piranha Bytes, and published by Deep Silver. Piranha Bytes itself is developing the Windows version[3], due to be released on October 2, 2009.[1] The Xbox 360 port has been outsourced to an experienced console team under the close supervision of Piranha Bytes[3]. IGN states that the North American and European release date of the Xbox 360 port has been delayed to "early 2010"[1].

It actually ran fine on my 8800 Ultra.

I don't think the fps was the highest, but everything was maxed out at 1680x1050 and it was definitely more than smooth enough for me.
