What kind of video card would you need to run this game at 1600x1200 ?

I understand the units are in 3d.

something pretty nice. I run it at 1280X1024 on a Rad 9500PRO....looks nice. GF4 minimum I would say for 1600X1200

Are the units really in 3D? I know MS used 3D units in Age of Mythology, but I thought I read somewhere they went back to 2D for RoN.

pretty fun. are you more interested in single or multi? i had a lotta difficulties getting multi to work w/o a buncha lag. i'm not a fan of RTS games, but i love civ. i thought it was a good mix of what i like a lot in civ, while giving a gentle push into the RTS realm.

however, i think my comparing it to civ3 made RoN seem disappointing to me. i probably shouldn't have compared them in my mind, but there are many similarities. overall, it's a good game, but civ3 has remained on my harddrive and has been replayed many times. whereas RoN was played a few times, then uninstalled.

I'm using an overclocked GF3 Ti200 and the game runs fine at 1600x1200x32 with all options set to high detail.

The game is lots of fun. I'm normally not an RTS fan but I've really gotten in to this one.

Great fun! 9700Pro here, so of course it runs nicely with all the eye candy...
